Thematic Webinar of the UNIMED SubNetwork on Migration

On March 30, 2021 from 10.00am to 11.45am it will be held the first thematic Webinar of the UNIMED SubNetwork on Migration that currently counts 42 Universities from 17 countries of both shores of the Mediterranean.

This webinar will be an opportunity to better know the SubNetwork’s initiatives and to learn about three projects, belonging to three different funding programs (Erasmus+ CBHE, Horizon2020 and AMIF), which have addressed the issue of the governance of migration and inclusion strategies.

The webinar will be divided into two separate sessions. The first session, held in the morning, will be focused on the SubNetwork activities and on the presentation of three inspiration projects concerned with the issues of Migrations.

During this session there will be the participation of Prof. Yamina El Kirat El Allame, Coordinator of the Research Laboratory “Culture, Language, Education, Migration & Society” (CLEMS), Mohammed V University (Rabat, Morocco) who will deliver a keynote speech focused on the SubNetwork Migration. After the intervention of Prof. Yamina El Kirat El Allame, there will be the presentation of the following projects:

  • MIGRANTS Project – Master Degree in Migration Studies: Governance, Policies and Cultures (Erasmus+ CBHE)
  • RAISD Project – Reshaping Attention and Inclusion Strategies for Distinctively vulnerable people among the forcibly displaced (Horizon2020)
  • SAFE Project – foSter cooperAtion For improving access to protEction (AMIF)
