Professor Capote Lama and Professor Ben Boubaker together for the class in Global Migratory trends

Students from the first year of the Master’s degree in migration studies, had the opportunity to experience the co-teaching activity during the Global Migratory trends and systems with professors Habib Ben Boubaker and Alberto Capote Lama from University of Granada where he teaches at the Human Geography Department.

An enriching experience to study migration issues with a different perspective.
“Professor Alberto’s class about Global Migratory Trends and systems was a blast. We learned about new migration trends such as the new migration flows in France, Italy, and Spain; and the Eurostar mobility. We also learned about European migration before the Schengen area and its mechanisms. I enjoyed the interaction in class, it was fruitful”, said a first year student Chaima Abouda.

Professor Capote Lama gave an interesting lesson to the class in a very unsual way. “Mr. Alberto’s class was enriching and full of great stories. I liked his relaxed yet very informative teaching style. He was helpful and cooperative. And the topic discussed of Intra-European migration was new and eye-opening for me”, said Ikram Tebai, a student from the first year of the Master.
